Dental Bonding

For teeth that have slight discoloration, chips or alignment issues, dental bonding is a viable option. Bonding places a white filling on the affected tooth and bonds with it to improve the appearance by closing matching the shade of your natural teeth. Another application of bonding is in place of other types of fillings because it’s less noticeable, but this use depends on the location and extent of the tooth decay. Advantages of bonding include affordability and the ability to complete the procedure in one office visit. Bonding isn’t as strong as treatments such as porcelain veneers, but damage is easy to repair or patch in a single visit.
